Cancellation Policy
Short version: 48 hours for a full refund, and we never charge you when we cancel for weather.
Booking
Advance booking is required for every tour. Tour times depend on the tides and are different every day — the calendar on each adventure page shows the departures that actually work.
Boat tours require a minimum of four guests and carry a maximum of eight. Hikes require a minimum of two and carry a maximum of ten. If a departure has not reached its minimum we will contact you to rebook.
If you cancel
- More than 48 hours before departure: full refund, no questions.
- Within 48 hours: we cannot offer a refund unless the spaces are filled by someone else. If they are, you get a full refund.
If we cancel
If we cancel because of weather or sea conditions there is no charge, and we will rebook you for another day that works. That decision is usually made the morning of the tour, and we will phone you — which is why we ask for a mobile number when you book.
On the day
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before a boat tour departure to be fitted with a cold-water survival suit, which is required on the water. For hikes and bike tours, 15 to 20 minutes is enough.
Arriving late may mean missing the departure. Tide-dependent tours cannot wait — the water does not.
Deposits
A 25% deposit confirms your booking; the balance is due on the day. Deposits are refunded in full under the terms above.
