Cancellation Policy
Short version: 48 hours for a full refund, and we never charge you when we cancel for weather.
Booking
Advance booking is required for every tour, by phone or email. The fat bike ride depends on the tide and starts at a different time every day — the calendar on each adventure page shows the days that work and roughly when. We confirm the exact start time with you when you book.
Fat bike rides require a minimum of two guests and carry a maximum of eight. Hikes require a minimum of two and carry a maximum of ten. If a departure has not reached its minimum we will contact you to rebook.
If you cancel
- More than 48 hours before departure: full refund, no questions.
- Within 48 hours: we cannot offer a refund unless the spaces are filled by someone else. If they are, you get a full refund.
If we cancel
If we cancel because of weather or sea conditions there is no charge, and we will rebook you for another day that works. That decision is usually made the morning of the tour, and we will phone you — which is why we ask for a mobile number when you book.
On the day
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the start time we confirmed with you, so there is time to get fitted with a bike and helmet or to go over the route.
Arriving late may mean missing the departure. The fat bike ride cannot wait — the water does not.
Deposits
If we take a deposit when you book, it is refunded in full under the terms above.
