Bike the exposed ocean floor at low water, then come back a few hours later and paddle over the same ground once the tide has filled the cove back in.
On this looped tour within the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark, we supply the fat bikes, helmets, the route and your guide. You will have the best of both land and sea views during this ride.
Glide along the ocean floor and enjoy the scenery of the calm waters surrounding Spencer’s Island. Looking across the bay you will see a fantastic view from Cape Split to Halls Harbour in the distance. Along the shoreline you pass sculpted rock formations and ripples in the sand left by the tide as it went out. Then loop back through a forest trail and down to the beach, where your paddleboards will be waiting in a sheltered cove.
Enjoy being on the water where you were biking just a few hours before. The Bay of Fundy reveals a new landscape on every tide — come explore it by bike and board.
